Why you need Google Adwords

March 10th, 2008 · No Comments

Today I launched my new product, the Adwords video’s. In this Adwords video course I teach people what Google Adwords is and how to use it. Unfortunately it’s recorded in Dutch so you won’t be able to benefit from this product.

I can however tell you why you should get an Adwords account and what Adwords will mean for your business…

Every webmaster wants en needs traffic. Without traffic your beautiful website is worth nothing. But you don’t need any traffic. You need potential buyers! Traffic which is ready to buy.

This is where Google Adwords will come in handy. With Adwords you can bid on a specific keyword. Every time someone searches on that keyword your ad will show up. In the screenshot below you can see some examples of Google Adwords ads:

The big advantage from Adwords is that you can bid only on those words you want to bid on. So if you sell notebooks for example, you should only bid on the keyword “buy notebook online” or “buy hp notebook”.

That’s the beauty of Adwords. You can bid only on those keywords which will bring you potential buyers.

When you don’t know what Google Adwords is I strongly advice you to take a look at http://adwords.google.com. If you have any questions concerning Adwords feel free to leave a comment (question)!
